Every year, more people feel anxious, exhausted, inflamed, and sick.
And most of them assume this is just what adulthood feels like.
That belief is wrong. And it’s costing people decades of energy, clarity, and resilience.
As a coach, the hardest part of my job isn’t motivation or compliance, it’s knowing that most people will spend their entire lives treating symptoms while the real causes go untreated.
The Real Goal Everyone Is Actually Chasing
When someone comes to work with me, they rarely say “I want better gut health” or “I want metabolic efficiency.”
They say:
“I want more energy.”
“I want to feel calm and focused.”
“I want my body to stop fighting me.”
“I want to enjoy the life I’ve built.”
Most of my clients are high-performing professionals and business owners who have built everything except their health.
What they’re really asking for is the ability to show up fully for what matters, without friction from their body.
That’s the umbrella everything falls under.
The Conceptual Error Most People Make
Here’s where people get lost → They treat anxiety, fatigue, inflammation, digestion, and immunity as separate problems.
Different symptoms. Different fixes. Different supplements.
But those symptoms are not independent failures. They’re outputs of a single system that isn’t functioning well.
The System That Determines Everything (And Why It’s Ignored)
After working through enough cases, a clear pattern emerged.
Health doesn’t change through “hacks” it changes through phases.
That’s why I built the S.T.A.B.L. Method:
Stabilize
Tolerance
Absorption
Biofeedback
Longevity
Each phase earns the next.
And today, I want to focus on the one that quietly determines whether everything else works or fails:
Absorption
If Not Willpower or Training… Then What?
Absorption is about ONE thing:
Can your body reliably turn food into energy without triggering stress or inflammation?
If the answer is no, everything downstream suffers:
Fat loss becomes inconsistent
Energy crashes become normal
Anxiety feels unprovoked
Blood sugar feels chaotic
Recovery slows
Immune issues increase
This is why people “do everything right” and still feel awful.
Why the Gut Is the Real Control Center
The gut isn’t just digestion.
It also:
Produces the majority of your neurotransmitters (chemicals that literally control you)
Houses ~70% of your immune system
Communicates directly with your brain and hormones
Determines how well those expensive supplements are used
This is why it’s often called the second brain.
The bacteria in your gut you feed with real food or processed foods don’t just affect digestion, they influence:
Mood
Motivation
Focus
Inflammation
Energy availability
Most chronic gut-related symptoms trace back to one issue:
Low butyrate.
Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid that:
Strengthens the intestinal lining
Reduces inflammation
Supports immune tolerance
Helps regulate neurotransmitters
When butyrate is low, the sequence looks like this:
Low butyrate
→ weakened gut lining
→ increased permeability (“leaky gut”)
→ undigested particles enter the bloodstream
→ immune activation
→ chronic inflammation
→ worsening digestion, mood, and energy
Once this loop starts, it feeds itself.
That’s why people experience:
Anxiety without a clear trigger
Brain fog
Fatigue
Joint pain
Skin issues
Food sensitivities
Blood sugar swings
If This Sounds Familiar, It’s Not Random
If you’re saying:
“I eat healthy but I’m always tired”
“Carbs bloat me”
“Everything I eat bothers me”
“Fatty foods don’t sit well”
“My digestion is unpredictable”
“I live on a blood sugar roller coaster”
“I get heartburn daily”
That’s the power of not taking the gut serious.
Why You Can’t “Hack” This
You can’t supplement your way out of a system that doesn’t tolerate food.
Absorption isn’t something you force, it’s something you create conditions for.
Which brings us to action.
The 30-Day Absorption Reset
It’s a reset that lowers noise so the system can stabilize.
For 30 days:
Eat seated, unhurried, and present
Breathe 5 deep breaths before meals and don’t eat in a stress response
Chew deliberately (20–30 times per bite)
Cook most of your meals; avoid processed foods
Eat foods that ferment well to support bacteria
(rice, potatoes, oats, fruits, vegetables, grains, fermented foods)Remove major gut disruptors
(alcohol, excess stimulants, NSAIDs, chronic stress)
This isn’t restriction or extreme, it’s just necessary and should be habitual.
The Real Outcome
Fix absorption and you don’t just “digest better.”
You:
Regain stable energy
Reduce baseline anxiety
Improve mood and focus
Normalize appetite and cravings
Improve immune resilience
Make fat loss predictable
This is why absorption is one of the first phases we implement in TWT.
Because it’s harder to have a bad day when your body isn’t fighting you.
See you on the superhuman side
